            London is a city of exciting trends and culture.  The street styles are unconventional and allow people to create their own trends.  It is evident that London is filled with inspiring parks, museums, and stores.  There is something for everyone whether looking for good prices, quality, or something out of the ordinary.  It seems impossible for someone to become bored or uninspired in this wonderful city! 

        
             A city filled with beautiful parks and sites can be none other than an inspiration.  Hyde Park is home to many beautiful statues and memorials.   Inside the park there is also a lake where people can paddle boat or have picnics by.  Hyde Park is one of many beautiful parks in London.  These parks allow people to leave the city and have a taste of fresh air.

           
          The museums in London are filled with wonderful art and history.  During fashion week in London, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), hosted many designs from up and coming designers. These designs smoothly went along with the museums themes and displays.  “The Power of Making” exhibition is on display at the V&A.  This event shows the handy work of many great designers and creators.  The theme of the event was to show off creations done by hand.  Another great museum in London is called the British Museum.  This museum houses many great wonders.  Mummies from ancient Egyptian royalty and the Rosetta stone are just some examples of what the museum has to offer.

         
          From Harrods to Dover Street Market, London knows how to retail.  Every store in London has its own style and character.  Although many of the stores like Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Harrods all sell many of the same brands, designers, and products they all use different methods in capturing the attention of their customers.  Harrods uses tactics of creating an environment of elegance and charm.  Their customer feels special and fancy just by walking through the beautiful wooden entrances.  Every part of Harrods is designed with class and sophistication.  On the other hand Harvey Nichols takes a newer approach.  They use trendy and eye catching window displays as well as displaying interesting floor displays.  Harvey Nichols and Harrods cater to different targets while selling similar products.  They are successful because they know how to create the exact atmosphere their customer wants.

            Dover Street Market is a concept store filled with interesting displays and products.  This store is very dry and host endless possibilities for trends.  The way the store is laid out allows the customer to become inspired by what the store offers. Liberty’s is in a way a concept store.  This store holds many different kinds of merchandise.  From fabric to china and shoes to books, Liberty’s is an all in one kind of store.  The atmosphere in Liberty’s is very warm and inviting.  This lets the customer have a very comfortable experience while shopping.  Some stores cater to chaos and are always over crowded, however Liberty’s always seems to have a calm and easy going mood. 

           
       London is filled with many inspiring historical architecture.  The House of Parliaments is a sight to see.  With its gorgeous golden points and lines, this building is a wonderful place to find inspiration for fashion.  At the end of the House of Parliaments, Big Ben sits tall (yet slightly starting to lean.)   Near Big Ben and the House of Parliaments, Westminster Abbey can be found.  This remarkable church is where the wedding of William and Kate took place.  Inside the cathedral one can see all of the beautiful windows and historical statues.  It truly is a beautiful sight and a must see when visiting London.  By going across the bridge it is easy to see these attractions by riding the London Eye.  This Ferris wheel like ride allows you to see the city from the sky!

         
           During fashion week there are many fashion shows and displays all around the city.  The Bernard Chandran show was very inspiring and beautiful.  The set up of the show was very chic and matched the clothes displayed.   The guests who come to see the show can be considered an inspiration by themselves.  They dress to the nines in their own personal styles.  One can find inspiration just by standing outside watching people wait in line to see a show!

         
           A city like London can only be described in a positive way.  The buildings are beautiful and the fashions are unique.  With the street styles booming British fashions can be unconventional and playful.  It is easy to see how these styles are coming about by visiting all over the city!
