Singapore is a beautiful mix of all of Asia.  With its modern take of Asian culture it is hard not to enjoy your time there.  During the day one can explore the wonders this clean country has to offer, and at night it is a wonder to spend your time seeing the lights around the marina.  There is many interesting places in Singapore including the only floating soccer field.  Singapore definitely is a place everyone will enjoy.

            The Singapore Flyer is the tallest ferris wheel in the world.  It stands at 165 meters high and allows viewers to see all of Singapore.  The ride around the flyer lasts about thirty minutes where you will be in an air conditioned and heated room.  There are special carts where people can enjoy a romantic dinner or toast with champagne.  These luxury carts are very reasonably priced and offer an array of options.  Flyer tickets can be bought at the flyer itself or through the many different bus tours.

            A wonderful place to visit in Singapore is the Marina Bay Sands.  Inside the Sands there are many different things to do.  There is a casino and hotel where you can enjoy the slots and have a wonderful time with friends. One can go shopping in the three story shopping mall.  There one can explore through designer stores and regular “mall” stores.  Inside the mall is an ice skating rink and a movie theater.  Singapore is known for its wonderful and delicious food courts.  The Marina Bay Sands has a wonderful array of Asian cuisine.  There you will be able to eat wontons, dumplings, and even buy a duck with its head intact.

The China town in Singapore is not like the one found in New York City.  This area is very traditional and not a place to go find fake purses.  There people can shop for Chinese items such as chop sticks and fans.  Since Singapore is known for having really good pearls this is a good place to find genuine pearls for descent prices.  There are many different types of restaurants and stands where it is easy to find good Chinese cuisine for very cheap.  Standing in the middle of China town is a Hindu temple.  The temple is very beautiful and interesting with all of the statues and colors.  The inside is sure to be just as pretty; however you must take off your shoes before entering.
